Serenity is found
in the still-running waters
of June Lake,
gentle ripples
lazily lapping the shore.
~
As I sit
all alone
early morning sun
warming my back,
You bring a gift
to the water’s edge.
~
I know
You are here.
Your grace knows no bounds.

So calmly beautiful
Thanks Boomie. 🙂
Beautiful, as ever. I can see a book of your poetry and pictures coming.
Thanks Joan. Don’t think I’m that good but sure am enjoying it. 🙂
Thank you, I needed that
Glad to oblige Ardythe! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by Penny and for your kind words. Terry reminded me that you are a cousin, one that I hope to meet someday. 🙂
AMEN!
It was a very spiritual moment for me Marsha, sitting there all by myself. As I turned to leave, the three deer just arrived at the water’s edge. So very peaceful and beautiful. 🙂
Beautiful poem and picture LuAnn
Thanks Alastair. This means a lot coming from someone who takes such lovely photos and writes so beautifully. 🙂
Wow… thank you LuAnn .. seriously
We are certainly enjoying your poetry, LuAnn. It is really heartfelt, in my judgment. Just wondering when you two will be returning to camp hosting at San Elijo?
Roger & Gayl
Thanks Roger and Gayl. We are coming back on November 1. Will you be around then or at least in the area? We would love to see the two of you again.
I know June Lake very well. Raise my kids in Bishop, CA. For 15+ years we visited the lakes and streams of the Sierras often. We loved the high Sierras eastern slopes. Cool, calming, beautiful.
They are spectacular Gale. We are so glad we have been given this opportunity. 🙂
We will make sure to be around and we will drive down to Cardiff one day to see you guys. Later, Roger
We will look forward to it. 🙂
I agree with Boomie, So calmly beautiful, both your words and the photographs, LuAnn! 🙂
Thanks so much Penny. 🙂
My pleasure of course! 🙂
